Why this matters
Ability order turns separate buttons into a reliable interaction. The sequence should create its own conditions instead of hoping every cooldown lands independently.
Three decisions to clean up
Open with permission
Use range, control, teammate pressure, or enemy commitment to make the first ability safe. Starting with the most valuable cooldown can waste it before the target is constrained.
Confirm before spending more
Read whether the opener landed or forced movement. Continue the sequence only when the next ability still has a clear job.
Keep an exit resource
Not every fight should consume every cooldown. Preserve movement, defence, or control when the enemy can still counter-engage.
Use it in your next session
- Choose one common fight pattern.
- Write a three-step ability sequence.
- Define the miss condition that stops the sequence early.
Review the pattern
Watch one fight at half speed and note each cooldown purpose. Abilities used because they were available need a clearer place in the sequence.
Do not judge the habit by one match result. Look for cleaner decisions across several repeated situations, then make the cue slightly more demanding once it becomes automatic.
