Why this matters
Map knowledge grows faster when tied to decisions. Memorising callouts and lineups without a round context creates facts that disappear when the pace increases.
Three decisions to clean up
Start with responsibility
Know what your position watches, what information lets you leave, and which teammate covers the next lane. This prevents the largest defensive gaps.
Build one attack route
Learn the close clear, first support utility, plant space, and post-plant retreat for each site. Add alternatives after the basic route is stable.
Review repeated locations
Group deaths by area and round phase. One misunderstood choke appearing five times deserves study before a rare lineup.
Use it in your next session
- Choose one map for the session.
- Write one defence job and one attack route per site.
- Review only decisions made in those locations.
Review the pattern
Progress means fewer moments where you do not know your next safe position. Add utility detail only after the movement and responsibility are clear.
Do not judge the habit by one match result. Look for cleaner decisions across several repeated situations, then make the cue slightly more demanding once it becomes automatic.
