You do not need OBS expertise
UpForge Desktop configures recording for you. OBS runs in the background; you play normally.
Setup steps (~5 minutes)
- Download UpForge Desktop on Windows
- Sign in and open Settings → Recording
- Click Configure OBS — UpForge installs the bundled profile and WebSocket connection
- Launch OBS once (UpForge can start it for you)
- Queue Valorant ranked — recording starts automatically when a match is detected
Default WebSocket password is upforge (changeable in OBS if you prefer).
What gets recorded
- Full match video at your chosen quality preset
- Automatic stop when the match ends
- File pairs with your Riot timeline — no manual rename or upload
Troubleshooting
- OBS not connecting: Restart OBS and click Reconnect in UpForge settings
- Black screen: Run Valorant in borderless windowed; check game capture source in OBS
- Disk space: UpForge compresses recordings and can archive to cloud without burning analysis quota
After the match
Open Match History → Review for timeline replay. Enable auto-analyse to queue a full coaching report when the game ends.
