Clutches are info and time games

The enemy has clock pressure when spike is down. You have numbers disadvantage. Panic favours the team with trades.

1v2 fundamentals

  • Isolate — fight one at a time; do not stand where both can see you
  • Sound — hear plant/defuse; time utility off audio
  • Spike — play for defuse deny, not kill farming

1v3+

  • Hold untradeable angle if time is short
  • Fake defuse audio only if you have molly/smoke to convert
  • Hunt only when you have info on last player location

Common throws

  • Wide swinging after first kill (no trade for them)
  • Chasing kill when spike timer wins the round for you
  • Using all util on first contact with two enemies left
