Why Pick Vyse in Ranked

Vyse is a sentinel built around isolation, trap timing, and punishing movement through contested space. Her kit does not only delay a push; it dismembers it. A well-placed trap can split a hit in half, her flash can detonate through surfaces, and her area denial makes rushed pathing painful. Vyse is strongest when you think about where enemies want to stand after the first contact. If you predict that space correctly, the entire site becomes hostile before the duel even starts.

Vyse can be pressured by patient teams that clear traps with drones, dogs, utility spam, or simply slow pacing. If the attackers never rush blindly through her setup, she must rely more on repositioning and timing than raw trap value.
