Why this matters
Review volume should serve a decision. Once the same controllable mistake appears across several matches, another hour of evidence is less valuable than deliberate practice.
Three decisions to clean up
Start with recent variety
Choose a close win, a close loss, and one uncomfortable match. This reduces the chance that one unusual stomp defines the whole plan.
Review events, not full runtime
Jump to deaths, objective turns, economy decisions, or other moments connected to the question. Focused sampling keeps review sustainable.
Stop at repetition
When one pattern appears several times, write the cue and return to play. Collect new evidence after you have attempted the change.
Use it in your next session
- Select three matches from the week.
- Review the same event type in each.
- Choose one pattern that appears in at least two matches.
Review the pattern
A good weekly review ends with one practice target and evidence for why it matters. More notes are not automatically a better plan.
Do not judge the habit by one match result. Look for cleaner decisions across several repeated situations, then make the cue slightly more demanding once it becomes automatic.
Use UpForge to review your matches, find repeated decision patterns, and turn them into a focused practice plan.
