How UpForge
Actually Works
Install the desktop app, play your games as normal, and UpForge automatically records, analyses, and coaches you — the moment you close out. No uploads. No YouTube links. Just play.
Fill the gap between games and coaching.
Install & Play
Download the UpForge desktop app. It sits in your tray, detects Valorant, CS2 and Deadlock automatically, and records every game with zero FPS impact.
AI Analyses Everything
The moment you finish, UpForge processes your footage. Gemini watches the full VOD. Claude synthesises live match data into a structured coaching report.
Know What to Fix
Your dashboard shows exactly what went wrong, which habits are recurring, and what to practise next — building a sharper coaching profile after every game.
Every stage, explained
From installing the app to receiving your coaching report — here's exactly what happens.
Install UpForge Desktop
Download the Windows app and sign in with your UpForge account. It runs quietly in your system tray — no config, no window to manage. Once installed, it automatically detects when Valorant, CS2 or Deadlock is running.
Play Your Game
Once UpForge detects a game starting, it kicks in automatically. Before you queue, a pre-game brief summarises your recent coaching insights so you have the right things in mind going in. During the match, the desktop app records everything and captures live match data — agent, rounds, kills, economy — that a YouTube link could never provide.
Hotkeys available: F8 saves a screenshot, F9 saves a manual clip, F10 toggles the in-game overlay — no alt-tabbing needed.
The Post-Game Window
The moment you close out of a match, UpForge opens a post-game window. It uploads your recording to secure cloud storage and begins analysis immediately. You don't have to do anything.
Your full coaching report lands in your dashboard 10–30 minutes after the game ends — processing time varies with match length and queue load.
Your Coaching Dashboard
Every report contains a complete breakdown of your performance — written like a real coach, not a stats dump. The AI adapts its feedback to your rank, agent, and the specific map you played.
Detailed breakdown of what you did well, what needs work, and specific moments pulled from your VOD.
How your agent mechanics transferred to the specific map — and how to improve that fit over time.
Scored categories — positioning, mechanics, utility, decision-making — tracked over time across all your analyses.
Specific, actionable drills tied to what the AI found in your game — not generic advice.
Your ACEs, clutches, and multi-kills are automatically saved and available in your dashboard alongside the report.
The AI walks through key rounds as a coach would — explaining decisions in context, not just listing stats.
Your Knowledge Bank Gets Smarter
Every analysis you run contributes to your personal Knowledge Bank — a living record of every coaching insight you've received. When the same weakness appears across multiple games, it's tracked and surfaced as a Priority Focus area automatically.
The AI builds on your history. It remembers what drills you've been given, what you've marked as fixed, and which patterns keep resurfacing — so coaching gets sharper and more personalised with every game.
10-Week Personalised
Improvement Roadmap
Once you've built up a coaching history, you can generate a personalised 10-week roadmap. The AI takes your Knowledge Bank — your past insights, recurring weaknesses, current rank — and builds a week-by-week training plan targeted at realistic rank progression.
It sets honest expectations. A Platinum player won't be told they'll hit Immortal in 10 weeks — but they will have a structured, achievable plan to reach Diamond and the habits to sustain it.

Analyse a VOD with a YouTube Link
Not on Windows, or want to analyse a specific match from YouTube? The web VOD submission form lets you paste any public YouTube link and run an analysis — no desktop app required. You select your agent, map, and any extra context, and the AI does the rest.

Common Questions
Everything players ask before their first game with UpForge.
How long does analysis take?
Desktop app analyses are typically ready within 10–30 minutes depending on match length and server load. Clip demos and web submissions follow the same pipeline. You'll get a desktop notification and email either way.
Will the desktop app affect my FPS?
No. UpForge uses GPU hardware encoding (NVENC for Nvidia, AMF for AMD, QuickSync for Intel). The encoder runs independently of your game renderer — most players see zero measurable FPS difference.
Which games are supported?
The desktop app supports Valorant, CS2 and Deadlock with automatic detection and full match data integration. Web VOD submission supports any publicly available Valorant recording on YouTube.
How accurate is the AI coaching?
The AI uses a two-stage pipeline — Gemini watches the full video to understand context, then Claude synthesises coaching from live match data and your history. It reliably identifies positioning habits, utility timing, and decision patterns that most players don't notice themselves.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you the core coaching report after every game. Plus ($14.99/mo) adds deeper analysis and Knowledge Bank tracking. Pro ($24.99/mo) unlocks everything — full Knowledge Bank, priority focus areas, and access to the $49 personalised 10-week Improvement Roadmap.
Is this a replacement for a human coach?
Not a replacement — a complement. Human coaches add context, motivation, and real-time feedback. UpForge gives you consistent, on-demand analysis after every game and builds a coaching history that helps both you and any human coach you work with.
