Twenty minutes, one habit, every session
Long VOD sessions die to burnout. This routine fits between queues and compounds over a month.
Minute 0–5: Pick one death
Not your best round — one death that felt unfair. Note the round number and your agent/hero.
Minute 5–12: Watch it twice
First pass: what did you know?
Second pass: what did you assume? Assumptions kill more than aim.
Minute 12–17: Name one fix
Examples: "pre-aim head height on Haven C Long," "don't force buy after lost pistol," "disengage when behind in souls."
Minute 17–20: Queue with that fix only
One goal per session. Ignore rank for the next two games.
When to add AI coaching
Run an UpForge report on the same match once a week. Compare what you saw in minute 5–12 with what the analysis flags — alignment means your review skill is improving.
Weekly cadence
| Day | Focus |
|---|---|
| 3 ranked sessions | One 20-min review after the last game |
| 1 session | Full AI report + one drill from recommendations |
That is under two hours of review for 10+ hours of play — enough to climb if the habit is honest.
UpForge Desktop queues coaching automatically after recorded matches — review when you are ready, not at 2am after a loss streak.
