Why this matters
Useful review starts before the damage lands. If you only study the final second, every lesson becomes aim better or react faster, neither of which fixes the setup.
Three decisions to clean up
Rewind to the last safe state
Find the moment when you still had a clean exit. That is usually where a controllable decision turned into a forced mechanical test.
Check wave and numbers
Count visible allies and opponents, then inspect the minion wave. A fight can be mechanically playable and still be strategically poor.
Name the missing permission
Vision, a key cooldown, and teammate position all grant permission to step forward. Identify which one you assumed instead of confirming.
Use it in your next session
- Review only your first two deaths.
- Rewind ten seconds before each death.
- Write the earliest decision that would have removed the danger.
Review the pattern
Use one label for a full week, such as no vision, bad wave, or outnumbered. Repeated labels reveal more than a long list of one-off errors.
Do not judge the habit by one match result. Look for cleaner decisions across several repeated situations, then make the cue slightly more demanding once it becomes automatic.
