Jungle is tempo, not kill count
Low-elo junglers measure success in gank kills. Higher-elo junglers measure camp efficiency, lane priority, and objective timers. Kills are a side effect of being on the right side of the map at the right time.
Pathing basics
- Full clear when lanes are scaling and no free gank is showing on ward info.
- Three-camp into gank when a lane has CC + push and enemy is overextended.
- Vertical jungle when you know enemy jungler started opposite side — steal camps and track, do not force a 50/50 gank.
Scuttle is a prio test
If mid and bot cannot help for scuttle, you are not entitled to both crabs. Take the one your laners can contest, or skip and full clear rather than die and donate tempo.
Gank timing
Gank when the wave is pushing toward enemy, not when your laner is under tower starving. A gank into a freeze is a wasted path — sometimes the best play is help your laner crash and reset.
Objectives
Herald and dragon are not "when they spawn." They are when your lanes have push and you have trinket/sweep ready. Ping timers at 1:20 before spawn so laners crash waves — that is jungle macro.
